By nature, daytime and nighttime astronomy comes with some inherant risks. Walking around in the moonless dark of night, setting up in areas of wilderness on uneven footing, curious fauna looking to greet you, ticks in the grass, alien abductions, etc. While these risks are generally mild and easily bested by common sense, we never-the-less request members to accept those risks unto themselves by signing the liability waiver.

Signing this liability waiver is also required to acquire your MHAA Membership Card, which affords you some exclusive priveleges like after-dusk access to some dark sites that is only offered to active MHAA members. After accepting the waiver, you will find your membership card in your MHAA Account page.

Your liability waiver status (signed/unsigned) will be visible in your account profile and once signed the form below will be replaced by an obvious message.
