SUNY New Paltz
We usually hold the club meetings and host our presenters in the large lecture hall on the South-East corner of the SUNY New Paltz Science Hall. The science hall itself is on the corner of Plattekill Ave and S. Manheim Blvd, but the nearest guest parking is generally Admin Parking Lot 15. Click here to view an interactive campus map.
COVID-19 Adjustments
Until the COVID-19 pandemic is under control we are unable to hold in-person meetings and instead will hold Zoom meetings. The Meetup events will have the most up to date location information about each event. The Meetup events can be found on our website calendar or on our Meetup group page.
Post-Meeting Socialization
Following each in-person meeting in New Paltz we generally head to a local eatery to grab a drink and a bite and further socialize with no specific topic or agenda. Naturally, space, astronomy, and science often find their way into our discussions, but not out of obligation. 🙂
Because of the time of night, we usually end up at a diner, but the specific location is decided on at the end of each formal meeting.
